You see data not as numbers on a spreadsheet, but in real terms.  What the data means, what it can mean, how it can help develop strategies for business.

You’re well versed in energy modelling, pricing and development.

You want to work with a company who strives to offer more choice to their customers, at a more affordable cost.

If this is you, then read on.

We are partnering with a state-wide organisation, to help them recruit 2 contract positions, for an Energy Analyst and a Commercial Analyst.

The Energy Analyst role is an initial 2 year fixed term contract, with views to extend beyond that point.  The company really wants someone who wants to grow their career well beyond the 2 year timeframe.  As a fixed term staff contract, a competitive salary is on offer.

The Commercial Analyst position is a shorter term role, and is initially for 3 months.  There may be opportunities to extend, but the role is more likely to be finite in nature.  A competitive hourly rate is offered for this role.

This organisation is based south of the river in Perth, and offers recently refurbished offices, free parking and modern amenities to all staff and contractors.

You’ll report to the Energy Planning and Pricing Manager, and will support and develop Energy demand, capacity and fuel forecasting, pricing frameworks and pricing design and perform economic and commercial energy and financial modelling.

In terms of what the company needs, they are looking for someone with significant modelling and analytical experience in a commercial environment – though if you are still reading beyond the first few sentences of this advert, you’ll have this experience.

You’ll have a proven ability to understand and analyse complex data relationships, and additionally, you’ll be a guru with the software that houses this data.  Some of these systems range from MS Excel (you’ll know this like the back of your hand), Homer, R/R Studio, SQL and TM1 COGNOS.

We are actively recruiting for these 2 positions – the company intends to hire as quickly as possible, therefore if you are interested in the role, please submit an application by clicking on apply now.

There is a lot more information about these roles, and the company, that doesn’t fit into an advert, so if you’d like to discuss further please call Clint Dixon on 08 9201 7700.
