SAP Support Analyst

The primary duties include:

  • Working within a Helpdesk team providing SAP financial and PeopleSoft human resource support to Department's staff
  • Support staff in SAP financial functions and processes (FICO Module processes)
  • Identification, prioritisation and resolution of support requests
  • Training junior staff members in SAP support analysis methods
  • Contributing to development and maintenance of Helpdesk procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve work and system processes
  • Tracking progress and resolution of escalated tickets
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with staff at Canberra and overseas posts
  • Supporting management as required with additional activities as they arise

The candidate must demonstrate that they have a high level of:

  • Technical knowledge of the SAP system
  • Sound understanding of financial Bank Reconciliations, Payment Runs and End-of-month processes
  • Experience in providing Level 1/Level 2 technical support for common SAP functions
  • Experience with Remedy, or similar service management / ticket logging software
  • Experience or exposure to the PeopleSoft HR system will be highly regarded, but not mandatory
